Medical Security Program
The program is voluntary and free!
Sometimes people with special needs require law enforcement assistance in the community.
This program is for anyone who:
- Cannot remember their address or phone number
- Wanders from home and fails to return
- Has problems with their medication and becomes confused or disoriented when they are in the community
- Is fearful of law enforcement and cannot or will not talk to officers
The program is voluntary and free!
Individuals may contact MHA staff to sign up.
- An identification card and bracelet will be given to you with your registration number
- Officers will be able to provide you immediate assistance through your computerized emergency contact information
- You and/or your family will no longer worry about your safe return
- You will get the emergency help you need when you need it
